High-Rise Window Cleaning: How Industrial Climbers Work

How professionals wash windows on high-rise buildings, what equipment they use, and why it's safer than it looks.

Owners of office towers, shopping centers, and residential complexes face one common problem: dirty windows spoil the look of the building, but reaching them with conventional methods is impossible. This is where industrial climbers come in.

Who Are Industrial Climbers

These are specialists trained to work at height using rope equipment. Unlike scaffolding or elevated work platforms, they work quickly, don't block building entrances, and require no lengthy setup.

How Facade Washing Works

Preparation. Specialists inspect the building and select anchor points on the roof. Safety ropes are secured.

Descent. The climber descends along the facade, stopping at each window or section.

Washing. Professional brushes with water feed or mini-washing machines for facades. We use demineralized water — no streaks.

Inspection. When done, we check the result from the ground — all windows must be equally clean.

Equipment and Safety

We work only with certified equipment — ropes, carabiners, and harnesses undergo regular inspection. Every specialist holds a permit for work at height. Before starting, a briefing and inspection of anchor points is carried out.

When Facade Washing Is Needed

  • Preparing the building for important events
  • After construction or renovation work
  • Seasonally: in spring (after winter grime) and in autumn
  • When the facade is covered in bird droppings, dust, or efflorescence

What Buildings We Work With

We work with high-rise residential buildings, business centers, shopping malls, hotels, and private villas with panoramic glazing. Any height, any facade type.

Leave a request — a specialist will inspect the building and calculate the cost.
